MiniCo Self Storage is a division of MiniCo, Inc., headquartered in Arizona. The company chose Hong Kong for its first location outside the US to introduce the new concept of professionally managed self storage services.
The company's introduction of American-style self storage to Hong Kong was an obvious move said Mr. Good. "Self storage has proven to be a concept that appeals to virtually all types of people in almost every country and culture. Storage in apartments and office spaces in Hong Kong is extremely limited. We are providing a convenient, affordable storage solution for residential and commercial customers that is clean, private and secure."
President, MiniCo Asia Limited, Marilyn Leslie, pointed out the unique features of American-style self storage as compared with traditional storage options in Hong Kong. "MiniCo Self Storage offers convenient locations near public transportation, extended access hours and month-to-month leasing."
She said she was confident that, with the level of cleanliness, security, accessibility, and customer service that MiniCo offered, there was tremendous potential for the company in Hong Kong.
Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion at Invest Hong Kong, John Rutherford, said "foreign invested businesses such as MiniCo does not only bring capital investment and create jobs but bring in new ideas and management skills."
